Intellectual Property Practice Team Coordinator
Responsibilities
- Manage client relationships
- Coincide billing and new matter openings
- Monitor deadlines and workflows
- Oversee work distribution
- Serve as the IP subject matter expert for assigned Practice Teams
- Partner with the Senior Manager of IP Operations to support training, onboarding, documentation, and process improvements
- Maintain a small prosecution docket, including preparing and filing U.S. and PCT patent applications, coordinating foreign filings, reviewing USPTO and WIPO correspondence, participating in quality control, and maintaining electronic records
Requirements
- Experienced IP professional
- Exceptional organizational, communication, and leadership skills
- Detail-oriented, able to manage competing priorities, and comfortable working independently while collaborating with attorneys, staff, and clients
- Bachelor's degree and paralegal certificate (or equivalent)
- At least five years of legal support experience, including five years of recent U.S. intellectual property prosecution experience
- Strong Microsoft Office skills and experience with USPTO systems
- Experience with FoundationIP and other IP legal software is preferred

Skills
Strong Microsoft Office skills and experience with USPTO systems are required. Experience with FoundationIP and other IP legal software is preferred.
Benefits
Typical pay range is from $96,900 - $110,000+, depending on experience. If your pay expectation is outside this range, we still encourage you to apply. Bonuses are awarded in recognition of individual and firm performance.
