Intellectual Property Litigation Associate

About the role

Husch Blackwell LLP is seeking an Intellectual Property Litigation Associate with three to seven years of experience. This position is available in any of our offices, including our virtual office, The Link.

Responsibilities

• Work primarily with attorneys in the Technology, Manufacturing & Transportation business unit.
• Handle patent litigation cases, particularly those involving electrical engineering, computer science, or artificial intelligence.
• Develop and present legal strategies and courses of action.
• Manage multiple projects effectively and demonstrate exceptional judgment.

Requirements

• Active bar license in the state where you reside or commit to obtaining one as soon as possible.
• Excellent academic credentials.
• A commitment to the community.
• Superior interpersonal skills.
• Demonstrated ability to work well under pressure.
• Variety of backgrounds, interests, and experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience in intellectual property litigation.
• Background in electrical engineering, computer science, or artificial intelligence.

Benefits

• Competitive compensation with a range of $215,000 to $260,000 in California, Chicago, Colorado, Massachusetts, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, New York, Vermont, Washington, and Washington, DC.
• Associate Performance Bonus and Client Development Bonus.

Pay

Compensation varies depending on market data and ranges from $180,000 to $215,000 in other markets.
