Intellectual Property Attorney, Lead

You Have:

• 5+ years of experience in legal counseling on intellectual property, product and solution sales, or primarily to federal government clients, including drafting and negotiating intellectual property licenses and developing data rights protection best practices
• Experience with drafting and advising on intellectual property in commercial contracts
• Experience in working with or managing patents, copyrights, trademarks, trade secrets, and open-source software
• Experience with advising on and being conversant with emerging technologies, including artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, data security, incident response, and highly technical concepts and associated regulatory and contractual requirements
• Experience with government contracts law, including FAR, DFARS, negotiating other transaction agreements, federal procurement statutes, and regulations in a law firm or corporate legal department
• Experience with negotiating commercial intellectual property issues relevant to product development and delivery agreements
• Ability to translate highly technical concepts into plain language
• Ability to work under pressure, prioritize and manage the workload and simultaneous tasks, and meet deadlines in a changing, fast-paced environment
• J.D. degree

Compensation:

Compensation at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $128,700.00 to $292,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
