Key Responsibilities
- Develop, oversee, and update comprehensive assessments for each individual
- Collaborate with teams to create and monitor Individual Support Plans
- Educate staff and monitor implementation of support strategies
- Support teams during behavioral incidents, psychiatric hospitalizations, and skill training
- Conduct effective team meetings and serve as point person for investigations
- Ensure consistency and regulatory compliance of all clinical documents
- Maintain confidentiality and adhere to all regulatory standards
- Complete financial reconciliations and monitor program expenditures
- Prepare program reports and statistical data
- Develop and maintain collaborative and productive relationships with supervisors, peers, and other employees
- Solicit and participate in professional development opportunities
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree and two years of experience working directly with individuals with intellectual disabilities or autism
- Master’s degree and one year of experience working directly with individuals with intellectual disabilities or autism
- Pennsylvania Behavior Specialist License
Additional Qualifications:
- Strong oral and written communication skills; ability to interpret and apply written information
- Intermediate computer skills, ability to use Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and learn web-based systems
- Valid driver’s license and access to properly insured vehicle
