About the role
Join the SAIC team as an Intel Analyst Senior. Demonstrating strong knowledge and experience with Department of Defense and Intelligence Community practices in protecting National Security.
Responsibilities
- Use OSINT tools, PAI/CAI datasets and classified databases to identify risks posed by emerging threats and UTS technologies to sensitive activities and intelligence operations.
- Identify and analyze UTS capability gaps in specific environments and scenarios and research applicable mitigation strategies and best practices, taking into consideration the impact of various factors including emerging technologies, adversary capabilities and operational requirements.
- Conduct full-spectrum analysis of physical and digital environments to identify and assess data relationships and digital signature correlations to illuminate and mitigate technical threats to operations.
- Support cryptocurrency and geolocation analysis and integrate it into targeting and threat assessment packages.
- Develop and provide written technical threat assessments; prepare tailored reports based on customer requirements, provide briefings to educate and train personnel, and assist in the development of operational frameworks and structured guidance to safeguard sensitive activities.
- Answer high-priority, time-sensitive customer requirements demanding critical thinking and complex problem-solving skills.
Requirements
- Daily duties performed in an office setting, with travel required throughout the DC-metro area and occasional travel CONUS and OCONUS to support field operations.
Qualifications
- U.S. citizenship and an active Top-Secret SCI clearance; and pass a CI polygraph (PR within 5 years).
- 5+ years of experience conducting technical targeting, researching emerging technologies, analyzing UTS threats and assessing technical threats to operations within the US military and/or US intelligence community (IC).
- Experience in technical targeting and two or more of the following areas: Technical Threat Analysis, OSINT, Signals Intelligence (SIGINT) analysis, Cryptocurrency analysis, All-Source Intelligence Support to Operational Risk Management, Targeting in support of CI/HUMINT Operations.
- Experience providing direct analytical support to tactical, operational & strategic-level CI/HUMINT operations.
- Experience conducting technical threat program analysis, to include advising customer management and operators on threats and creating and employing proposed courses of action.
- Ability to execute multiple tasks and ongoing projects while ensuring compliance with applicable laws, policies, and procedures.
- Effective communication skills, including the ability to convey complex technical topics to a diverse customer base in both written and verbal format.
Skills
- Strong knowledge of military operations, terminology, and structure.
