Responsibilities
- Work in cross-functional teams to develop operating processes and procedures to ensure compliance with regulations.
- Apply knowledge of commonly-used engineering concepts, practices and procedures to perform assigned tasks.
- Demonstrate the ability to apply engineering theories and concepts to increasingly complex problems over time, with guidance from immediate supervisor.
- Conduct external audits from regulatory agencies.
- Travel to field locations required on an as needed basis.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in an engineering science from an accredited engineering college or university.
- 2+ years of related experience.
- Basic computer skills and effective application of software programs.
- Working knowledge of 49 CFR Part 192 and 195 and API1171.
- Ability to contribute in a team environment.
- Effective communication skills in both oral and written form, including technical writing.
- Knowledge of basic engineering concepts, fundamentals and theory.
- Valid driver's license.
Qualifications
- Works under immediate supervision and relies on instructions and departmental expectations to perform the duties of the job.
- Ability to think analytically and solve basic problems.
- Familiarity with metal loss/burst pressure calculations, well surveillance logging or in-line inspection.
- Familiarity with ESRI ARC GIS applications.
Skills
- PE certification preferred.
- 4+ years of relevant experience preferred.
- Familiarity with statistical data analysis is preferred.
