Integrative Medicine Physician with Ayurveda Background

About the role

An Oasis of Healing is an integrative oncology healing center located in the East Valley of Phoenix, AZ. Founded by Dr. Thomas Lodi in 2006, the center offers a comprehensive integrative cancer care program that includes high-dose IV vitamin C, chelation, ozone, UBI, EBOO, curcumin, quercetin, insulin potentiated therapy, and more.

Responsibilities

• Provide both conventional and alternative medical expertise with a focus on lifestyle modification in a team-based approach.
• Manage the needs and concerns of cancer patients and their associated complications.
• Engage and inspire patients to take responsibility for their personal health and support behavioral changes.
• Support patients in making therapeutic relationships with the doctor for the best possible outcomes.

Requirements

• Current and active MD, DO, or MDH license (AZ).
• Certification in Internal Medicine is preferred, but not required.
• Experience in the ER, ICU, or CCU preferred.
• A background and/or training with ACAM and A4M a plus.
• Experience in functional, metabolic, and anti-aging medicine preferred.
• Experienced with at least 2 years of integrative medicine practice in internal medicine, primary care, or oncology setting preferred.

• Confident and capable to manage the needs and concerns of cancer patients and its associated complications.
• Desire to support behavioral changes and inspire patients to take responsibility for their personal health.
• Understanding of the importance of a therapeutic relationship between the doctor and patient for the best possible outcomes.

• Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team.
