Integration & Test Engineer II - System Test Strategy & Execution

About the role

The System Test Strategy & Execution team at Latitude AI is responsible for ensuring the performance of autonomous vehicle systems through various testing methods. This includes in-vehicle, simulation, resimulation, and bench testing, as well as addressing software issues reported from the field.

Responsibilities

• Conduct hands-on testing with autonomous vehicles based out of facilities in Greenville, SC
• Work in Release Candidate and Development Testing areas
• Test autonomy developer pull requests on vehicles on public roads
• Leverage system requirements to develop Release Candidate tests and Structured Tests as needed for Development Testing
• Support Vehicle Behavior requirements and simulation functional set development
• Work with automated ADAS test equipment to execute choreographed scenarios
• Analyze test results and create detailed written reports, providing feedback to developers to improve software
• Conduct integration testing to ensure the seamless interoperability of software, hardware, and sensor systems within the automated driving stack

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Robotics or a related field and 2+ years of relevant experience, Master's degree, or PhD
• Strong understanding of the autonomous vehicle software stack
• Solid problem-solving skills
• Comprehensive understanding of performance requirements for autonomous systems
• Ability to write test documentation for test cases and engineering processes

Qualifications

• Experience working with ADAS automation testing products
• Proficiency in writing Python
• Experience using dashboarding software such as Looker or Superset
