INTEGRATION TECHNICIAN SF BAY AREA

Role Summary

An AV Technician installs low-voltage systems in residential projects. Responsible for initial rough-in wiring, device trim and verification, final installation and debugging.

Responsibilities

• Rough-in: Adhere to engineered design documentation to place wire in locations for all system devices
• Able to safely use power tools, ladders
• Able to read and follow architectural plans for device layout
• Fast, efficient, accurate, and neat at all times
• Trimout: Terminate, verify, label system wiring
• Install AV devices following system documentation
• Final Installation: Follow schematic documentation for AV rack building
• Installation and setup of AV equipment
• System trouble-shooting and debugging
• Integration with sub-systems

Experience

• Minimum 3 years’ experience in Custom Residential AV installation
• Deep familiarity with Savant, Crestron
• Knowledge of network configuration and setup a plus
