About the role
We are seeking an AWS Technical Architect with a strong integration background to design and deliver cloud solutions that connect our clinical, operational, and commercial systems. You will work within an established architecture team, contributing to solution design and hands-on delivery while growing toward senior architectural leadership. This role sits at the intersection of cloud infrastructure, enterprise integration, and healthcare technology — helping Vantive modernize how we connect systems that ultimately support patient care.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement AWS-based architectures for integration workloads connecting clinical, supply chain, and enterprise systems
- Develop integration patterns including API design, event-driven messaging, and data synchronization across Vantive's application landscape
- Contribute to architectural standards, design patterns, and technical documentation
- Collaborate with senior architects to translate business and clinical requirements into technical solutions
- Evaluate and recommend appropriate AWS services for specific use cases
- Support delivery teams with technical guidance, design reviews, and troubleshooting
- Participate in solution design for hybrid integration scenarios (cloud-to-on-premise, SaaS-to-platform)
- Contribute to infrastructure-as-code practices and CI/CD pipeline design
- Ensure solutions meet healthcare regulatory and compliance requirements (HIPAA, GxP where applicable)
