About the role
The Integration Engineer II is responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining integration solutions across multiple systems. This role requires expertise in software development, system architecture, and integration technologies.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement integration solutions using various technologies such as APIs, web services, and middleware.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including developers, database administrators, and business analysts to ensure seamless integration of systems.
- Perform system testing and debugging to ensure that integration solutions meet requirements and are reliable.
- Document integration processes and procedures to facilitate future maintenance and updates.
- Stay current with emerging integration technologies and trends to enhance existing solutions and drive innovation.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in software engineering or related fields.
- Experience with integration technologies such as ESBs, API management platforms, and cloud-based integration services.
- Strong understanding of software development methodologies and best practices.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, or C#.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Qualifications
- Experience with integration frameworks such as Apache Camel, Spring Integration, or IBM MQ.
- Knowledge of data modeling and database design principles.
- Experience with DevOps practices and tools such as Jenkins, Git, and Docker.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with tight deadlines.
