About the role
Develop and support integration solutions across APIs, microservices, Kafka, and secure file-based interfaces. Build scalable and secure components using Azure API Management, Java, Spring Boot, Kafka, DevOps tools, and managed file transfer technologies. Work with architects, leads, QA, operations, and business teams to deliver high-quality integration services.
Responsibilities
- API and microservices development: Develop, test, and deploy REST APIs and Java/Spring Boot microservices using enterprise standards.
- Azure API Management: Configure APIs, policies, subscriptions, transformations, security, throttling, and monitoring.
- Event, data, and file integration: Build Kafka producers/consumers, batch components, and secure SFTP/PGP-based file integrations.
- Security and quality: Implement OAuth, JWT, API keys, certificates, unit tests, integration tests, and error-handling patterns.
- DevOps and support: Use Git, Azure DevOps, CI/CD, monitoring, logging, and deployment automation for reliable delivery.
- Documentation and collaboration: Maintain API specs, design notes, runbooks, and work with cross-functional teams to resolve dependencies.
- Support sales team to create wins: Percentage of proposals with Quality Index >7, timely support of proposals, identifying opportunities/leads to sell services within/outside account (lead generation), number of proposals led.
- Delivery responsibility in projects/programs and accounts:
- Solution acceptance of integration architecture (from client and/or internal Wipro architecture leadership).
- Effective implementation of integration-approach/solution component via sufficient integration-design, methods guidelines, and team tech know-how.
- Delivery support: CSAT, delivery as per cost, quality, and timelines; identify and develop reusable components; recommend tools for reuse and automation to improve productivity and reduce cycle times.
- Capability development: Percentage of trainings and certifications completed, increase in ACE certifications, thought leadership content developed (white papers, Wipro PoVs).
Requirements
- 5+ years of IT experience in integration development, API development, microservices, or cloud integration delivery.
- Strong hands-on skills in Java, Spring Boot, REST APIs, OpenAPI/Swagger, JSON, XML, and microservices development.
- Experience with Azure API Management, Kafka, ETL, batch processing, SFTP, PGP, and secure file transfer patterns.
- Good understanding of OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect, JWT, API keys, certificates, mutual TLS, and secrets management.
- Experience with Git, Azure DevOps, CI/CD, deployment automation, monitoring, logging, troubleshooting, and production support.
- Good communication, documentation, collaboration, problem-solving, and ownership skills.
- Mandatory: Integration Architecture experience of more than 10 years.
Pay
The expected compensation for this role ranges from $100,000 to $185,000. Final compensation will depend on various factors, including geographical location, minimum wage obligations, skills, and relevant experience.
