About the role

The Systems Engineer (Integration & Test) will be responsible for designing, conducting, and analyzing tests on complex electronic systems. This position requires a strong background in troubleshooting hardware, software, and firmware issues, and the ability to collaborate effectively with various stakeholders.

Responsibilities

  • Design and conduct Design Verification Tests, Environmental Qualification Testing, and Electromagnetic Interference (EMI) Qualification Testing
  • Work with multiple stakeholders across various disciplines to ensure successful project outcomes
  • Develop and execute integration test plans based on systems engineering principles
  • Write and execute test scripts using languages such as MATLAB, C, C++, Java, or Python
  • Apply MBSE concepts and tools (Cameo) to support system development and testing
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and firmware issues
  • Travel may be required for testing and collaboration purposes

Requirements

  • BS degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Related technical degree with 2+ years of related experience OR MS degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Related technical field
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a collaborative environment and with multiple stakeholders across various disciplines
  • Active Secret Clearance to start

Qualifications

  • Experience in an integration and test environment for complex electronic systems evaluation
  • Working knowledge of DOORS and Verification Cross Reference Matrices (VCRMs)
  • Working knowledge of one or more of the following specialty areas: EOIR systems, sensors, optics, RFEW systems, DSP, antenna design, computational electromagnetics, RF test equipment

Skills

  • Strong troubleshooting skills for hardware, software, and firmware issues
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as MATLAB, C, C++, Java, or Python
  • Experience with Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) concepts and tools (Cameo)
  • Ability to work independently and with minimal oversight
