About the role
Raytheon EO/IR Solutions is seeking an engineering leader with a strong background in production and sustainment programs, specifically in Multi-Spectral Target Systems (MTS).
Responsibilities
- Provide technical oversight and leadership for the assembly and testing of Raytheon-built hardware across multiple programs.
- Prioritize and coordinate sustaining engineering functions (Electrical, Mechanical, and Reliability Engineers) to meet daily operational and program needs.
- Lead cross-functional teams to identify and implement improvements in cycle time, cost reduction, and product reliability.
- Manage the training and onboarding programs for new engineers, fostering skill development and team integration.
- Drive technical decision-making processes, resolving conflicts within sustaining engineering teams or escalating to the appropriate authority when necessary.
- Lead troubleshooting and root-cause analysis for deliverable hardware issues, ensuring timely resolution and implementation of corrective actions.
- Support proposal efforts through Basis of Estimate (BOE) generation.
- Provide timely and accurate Estimates at Complete.
Qualifications
- Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 8 years of prior relevant experience.
- Experience with MTS EO/IR systems in development, production, and/or sustainment environments.
- Experience leading cross-discipline teams and managing competing priorities across multiple programs.
- The ability to obtain an Secret U.S. government issued security clearance is required prior to start date.
- U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.

Pay
The salary range for this role is 107,500 USD - 204,500 USD.
