Integrated Biomedical Imaging Facility Manager

About the role

Devote your expertise in data science to accelerate the pace at which new medicines are found. The Carpenter-Shen lab develops and applies methods to extract quantitative information from high-throughput biological images, integrated with other omics.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement machine learning models to analyze large-scale biological imaging datasets
• Collaborate with biologists and bioinformaticians to interpret results and guide experimental design
• Contribute to the development and optimization of computational tools for biomedical research
• Present findings at internal lab meetings and external conferences

Requirements

• PhD in Computer Science, Biostatistics, Bioinformatics, or a related field
• Experience with image processing and analysis
• Strong programming skills in Python/R
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
