Integrated Behavioral Health Clinician-1

About the role

Are you a LICSW or LMHC looking to expand your skills by working in primary care? Do you enjoy working with children, adolescents and adults in a clinical model that is short-term, evidence-based and fast-paced? Do you want to provide services at the front line where patients first get their care?

Responsibilities

• Embedded within the primary care team in the clinic
• Assess individuals with behavioral health and/or substance abuse issues
• Provide brief treatment services within the clinical setting
• Expand the team’s ability to treat persons with chronic medical issues complicated by lifestyle factors

Requirements

• Master’s or Doctorate in social work from an accredited college or university
• Ideal candidate will have experience or internship in a medical setting that supports a primary care integration model
• Commitment to working in community health with the challenges of high risk, and often uninsured and diverse patient population
• CPR certification required
• Experience providing managed care patient services
• Proven writing skills to document medical records and submit documentation
• Strong/demonstrated communication skills, written and verbal
• Ability to multi-task and manage concurrent situations
• Previous experience with EHR helpful
• Knowledge of HIPAA regulations
• Knowledge and experience in information privacy/security laws, access, and release of information
• Ability to successfully complete and pass a background check
• Access to reliable transportation

Full-time 40-hour schedule (part-time may be available)
