Job Summary
The Intake Specialist role is pivotal to NextLaw’s mission of providing unmatched legal service and outcomes to our clients. In this role, you will serve as the initial point of contact, representing the firm’s compassionate and professional reputation.
What You’ll Do
- Client Engagement: Handle 10-15 intake calls daily for criminal and personal injury cases, ensuring each call is informative and engaging.
- Consultation Management: Conduct confident, consultative calls to qualify leads, build rapport, and convert interactions into signed cases.
- Objection Handling: Address pricing and payment plan concerns, offering solutions that align with client needs and firm policies.
- Follow-up Excellence: Send post-call follow-ups using firm videos and assets to maintain engagement and improve conversion rates. Help build and continuously improve our follow-up system (templates, cadence, messaging, and assets).
- Systems Management: Maintain accurate records and track leads in Clio, Lead Docket, and Filevine systems; utilize tools effectively.
- Collaboration: Work closely with attorneys and staff providing timely updates and enhancing team synergy.
- Process Improvement: Continuously refine the intake process using training and best practices to boost efficiency and effectiveness.
What We’re Looking For
- Intake Experience: Minimum 1-3 years in a legal (preferably PI or criminal) setting, handling client intake processes.
- Sales Skills: Proven ability in objection handling and ethical sales practices, with confidence in discussing payment plans.
- Tech Proficiency: Familiarity with Clio, Lead Docket, and Filevine systems is preferred.
- Communication Skills: Excellent organization, note-taking, and follow-through with strong verbal and written communication.
- Multitasking Ability: Capable of managing multiple leads and tasks simultaneously, effectively prioritizing as needed.
- Problem Solving: Proactive approach in identifying problems and implementing innovative solutions.
- Learning Mindset: Open to continuous improvement and self-education to enhance skills and productivity.
- Bilingual Capability: Spanish fluency is a valuable asset in serving a diverse client base.
