Intake RN - PRN Night Shift

Responsibilities

• Triage patients
• Completion of assessments for assisting physician in identification of an appropriate level of care
• Serve as liaison to referral sources, families, payors, physicians, unit and hospital personnel involved with each admission
• Interface closely with both internal hospital staff, facility physicians, as well as referring hospitals, patients, families, and community referral sources
• Effectively communicate with unit staff and assist patient to unit
• Verify and prior authorize insurance benefits as needed

Requirements

• Current license to practice nursing in Arizona or compact privileges
• One year of experience working in a psychiatric inpatient
• Able to attain a Level 1 Fingerprint Clearance Card
