Intake Counselor - Days & Nights

Responsibilities

• Respond to crisis inquiries and intakes
• Provide clinical screening and crisis intervention services
• Mobilize internal and external resources
• Establish appropriate stabilization and disposition of each case in coordination with psychiatric staff
• Ensure appropriate information and referral for follow-up care in cases not requiring admission to hospital services

Requirements

• Master’s Degree and LPC, LMFT, or LCSW License in mental health or related field, or equivalent mental health experience
• Knowledge of or experience in working with mental health or chemical dependency
• Ability to work cooperatively with program staff
• Good communication and organizational skills
• Clinical experience sufficient to perform required clinical assessment services
• Training in non-violent crisis intervention (helpful but can be provided after employment)

Schedule

Full-time positions available for both day and night shifts.
