Intake Attorney

About the role

The Intake Attorney plays a crucial role in the Case Control Center, connecting potential clients with Morgan & Morgan’s legal expertise. Your primary responsibility is to reassure and guide clients through the legal process, ensuring they choose a firm that is committed to their cause.

Responsibilities

• Directly speak with potential clients to offer reassurance and clarity about the legal process.
• Build trust quickly through empathy, communication, and professionalism.
• Follow up on outstanding calls and unsigned retainers, maintaining timely and professional communication.
• Collaborate with CCC leadership, managing partners, and attorneys nationwide to ensure smooth case onboarding.
• Document all conversations and assessments accurately and attentively.
• Evaluate initial merits of potential personal injury cases and provide guidance on next steps.
• Review police reports, photos, and other early case materials to support evaluations.
• Make real-time decisions on case acceptance aligned with firm strategy and criteria.

Requirements

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
• Active member of the Florida Bar in good standing.
• At least 3 years of personal injury experience; either managing your own caseload or working as an Intake Attorney.

• Comfortable working in a high-volume, fast-paced call center environment.

• Literacy in Spanish is a significant plus.
