Intake Attorney

About the role

We are an established real estate law firm with offices across California. Our Concord office is looking for an Intake Attorney to join our fast-paced team.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients step-by-step through every phase of the eviction process
• Provide legal advice through phone consultations, assessing the facts and issues of each scenario
• Conduct legal research in order to identify and assess cases and legal issues
• Draft legal correspondence, including letters and notices, based on client needs
• Conduct and direct legal document preparation and review, including summons and complaints and stipulations

Qualifications

• J.D. and an active California Bar license
• 1+ years of attorney experience
• General knowledge of civil litigation
• The Following Qualifications Are Preferred: Knowledge of the litigation process and California Civil Code, Some contact with the rental housing industry

Schedule

Position is full-time, exempt. Our business hours are 8:30am-5:30pm Monday-Thursday, 8:30am-5:00pm Friday. We currently offer a hybrid in-office remote work model for select positions within the Firm. New hire employees who are offered a hybrid schedule will complete the majority of their onboarding and training in-office as deemed necessary for the position by the firm before transitioning to a hybrid schedule, subject to approval by their supervisor.
