Insurance Senior Risk Analyst

About the role
As a Senior Risk Analyst in McGriff’s Transportation & Logistics Practice, you will extract usable data from raw files and reports to populate internal datasets, create complex analytic reports for service teams, and identify emerging trends and opportunities within large data sets.
Responsibilities
- Serve as subject matter expert for analytic resources, procedures, and report explanations.
- Maintain internal databases through data import and quality assurance.
- Identify, create, and market analytic reports, including client-facing slide decks.
- Build and maintain relationships with team members and business units.
- Support company projects and initiatives.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or Insurance; or equivalent education and training.
- Three years of experience in Property and Casualty insurance.
- Active Property and Casualty insurance license.
- One year of reporting experience.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word and Excel) with advanced Excel skills.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently, follow instructions, and manage multiple tasks.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Risk Management Information Systems or agency management systems.
- Working knowledge of Experience Modification and its calculation.
- Ability to analyze data to identify trends and meaningful insights.
- Understanding of risk management concepts such as Total Cost of Risk, Benchmarking, Loss Trending, and Loss Forecasting.
- Willingness to learn about new risk management reports and their creation.

Pay
The base salary range for this role is $41,200 to $76,800, with additional eligibility for performance-based incentives. The final offer will consider experience, skills, training, location, certifications, education, and applicable minimum wage requirements.
