Insurance Sales Agent- Virginia Beach Branch

About the role

This position is for a full-time Insurance Sales Agent based in the Virginia Beach Farm Bureau Branch Office. The role involves building strong relationships with community members and organizations, managing an existing book of business, and achieving sales targets.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain relationships with current and potential clients
• Manage and grow an existing book of business
• Identify and pursue new client opportunities
• Provide excellent customer service and support
• Participate in regular training sessions to enhance sales skills and knowledge

Requirements

• Property & Casualty license and Life, Health & Annuities license, or ability to obtain these with Virginia Farm Bureau providing and paying for licensing training materials/class
• Must provide proof of passing licensing test
• Strong communication skills, both oral and written
• Good time management skills and the ability to work independently
• Goal-Oriented and driven to succeed

Qualifications

• Experience in sales, particularly in the insurance industry, is preferred but not required

Pay

The average first-year total compensation ranges from $52,000 to $125,000 annually, inclusive of base salary and commissions.

Schedule

Full-time on-site at the Virginia Beach office. No relocation offered.
