Insurance Sales Agent- Suffolk
The Virginia Farm Bureau seeks an Insurance Sales Agent to join its Nansemond County office in Suffolk, VA. This position reports to the Agency Manager and is exempt.

Responsibilities
- Build and maintain relationships with existing and new clients
- Manage an existing book of business
- Generate new sales through effective communication and networking
- Participate in training programs offered by Virginia Farm Bureau
Requirements
- Property & Casualty license and Life, Health & Annuities license, or ability to obtain these with Virginia Farm Bureau providing and paying for licensing training materials/class
- Strong communication skills, both oral and written
- Good time management skills and the ability to work independently
- Prior sales experience (any industry) helpful but not required
- Goal-oriented and driven to succeed

Pay
Average first-year total compensation ranges from $52,000 to $125,000 annually, dependent upon location and established book of business. Base salary ranges from $37,000 to $52,000 annually.
Schedule
Flexible schedule with travel to meet with existing and new clients.
