Insurance Sales Agent- Prince George

The Virginia Farm Bureau seeks an Insurance Sales Agent to join its team in the Prince George County Farm Bureau Office in Prince George, VA.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain a book of business by prospecting and servicing existing and new clients
• Manage customer interactions through phone, email, and in-person meetings
• Understand and explain insurance products and services to customers
• Collaborate with the sales and systems training team for ongoing learning and development
• Participate in company-sponsored events and activities

Requirements

• Property & Casualty license and Life, Health & Annuities license, or ability to obtain these with Virginia Farm Bureau providing and paying for licensing training materials/class
• Strong communication skills, both oral and written
• Good time management skills and the ability to work independently
• Prior sales experience (any industry) helpful but not required
• Goal-Oriented and driven to succeed

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Ability to travel within the county for client meetings

Pay

Average first-year total compensation: $52,000 - $125,000 annually (inclusive of base salary)
