About the role

Virginia Farm Bureau Insurance seeks an Insurance Sales Agent to join its team in the Prince George County Farm Bureau Office in Prince George, VA.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain strong relationships with members and organizations
• Manage and grow an existing book of business
• Provide excellent customer service and support
• Work independently and manage time effectively
• Seek out and pursue new business opportunities

Requirements

• Property & Casualty license and Life, Health & Annuities license, or ability to obtain these with Virginia Farm Bureau providing and paying for licensing training materials/class
• Strong communication skills, both oral and written
• Goal-oriented and driven to succeed

Qualifications

• Prior sales experience (any industry) helpful but not required

Pay

Base Salary: $37,000 – $52,000 annually (dependent upon location and established book of business)

Total compensation — which includes base salary, commissions, and performance-based earnings — is driven by your individual effort, hustle, and the relationships you build with members.

Schedule

With travel to meet with existing and new clients, the schedule will vary based on client needs and business demands.
