About the role
Virginia Farm Bureau Insurance seeks an Insurance Sales Agent to join its team in the Orange County Farm Bureau Office in Orange, VA.
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and new clients
- Manage and grow an existing book of business
- Generate new sales through effective communication and relationship building
- Participate in training programs offered by Virginia Farm Bureau
- Work independently and manage time effectively
Requirements
- Property & Casualty license and Life, Health & Annuities license, or ability to obtain these with Virginia Farm Bureau providing and paying for licensing training materials/class
- Strong communication skills, both oral and written
- Goal-oriented and driven to succeed
Qualifications
- Prior sales experience (any industry) helpful but not required

Pay
Average First-Year Total Compensation: $52,000 – $125,000 annually (inclusive of base salary)
Base Salary: $37,000 – $52,000 annually (dependent upon location and established book of business)
