The Virginia Farm Bureau seeks an Insurance Sales Agent to join its team in the Nottoway County Farm Bureau Office in Blackstone, VA. This is a full-time, on-site position.

About the role

This position will be responsible for servicing an existing book of business, earning a base salary of $37,000 to $52,000 annually, depending on location and established book of business. Total compensation includes base salary, commissions, and performance-based earnings, with no ceiling on earning potential.

Responsibilities

• Service an existing book of business
• Earn a base salary of $37,000 to $52,000 annually, dependent on location and established book of business

Requirements

• Property & Casualty license and Life, Health & Annuities license, or ability to obtain these with Virginia Farm Bureau providing and paying for licensing training materials/class
• Must provide proof of passing licensing test
• Strong communication skills, both oral and written
• Good time management skills and the ability to work independently
• Goal-oriented and driven to succeed

Qualifications

• Prior sales experience in any industry helpful but not required
