Insurance Sales Agent-Nottoway

About the role

The Insurance Sales Agent position at Virginia Farm Bureau Insurance in Nottoway County, VA is a full-time opportunity with travel to meet with existing and new clients. The role reports to the Agency Manager and offers a competitive compensation range from $37,000 to $52,000 annually, with total compensation dependent on individual effort and performance.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain strong relationships with community members and organizations
• Service an existing book of business provided by Virginia Farm Bureau
• Generate new sales through effective communication and goal-oriented behavior
• Participate in dedicated sales and systems training provided by Virginia Farm Bureau
• Receive a variety of bonuses and incentives based on performance

Requirements

• Property & Casualty license and Life, Health & Annuities license, or ability to obtain these with Virginia Farm Bureau providing and paying for licensing training materials/class
• Must provide proof of passing licensing test
• Preferred: Strong communication skills, both oral and written, good time management skills, and prior sales experience (any industry)
