Job Description

This is a relationship driven sales role with long-term income potential through commission. Required Qualifications

  • Active State Property & Casualty Insurance Sales license
  • Active State Life and Health Insurance Sales license, or obtain within 90 days of hire
  • Must qualify, obtain, and maintain all applicable state licenses and appointments required for selling and/or servicing Auto Club Group Membership products
  • Obtain Health and Accident licenses and appointments where applicable as deemed necessary and within a time frame established by the Business Unit
  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • 1+ year(s) of customer-facing experience in a fast-paced computer automated business environment (i.e., financial/banking)
  • Insurance experience is helpful—but not required
  • We provide training to help you get licensed and confident in the role

Compensation & Benefits Overview

  • Base pay (non-exempt): Typical Starting Earnings $57,000 - $62,000+ (First-year, based on performance)
  • Additional Compensation: Ramp-up support $2,500 Processed 30 and 60 days of employment Supplemental Pay for six months: $200/week during months 0–2, $150/week during months 3–4, $100/week during months 5–6
  • Performance Incentives: Elevated commission structure during the first 15 months New Hire On-Pace Bonus tied to milestones

  • Retirement & Savings: 401(k) plan to support long-term financial goals. 3% automatic deferral upon eligibility; may contribute 1% to 50% of eligible earnings, either pre or post tax. Company match of 50% paid on employee contributions up to 6% of pay, payable to employees following the end of the year; immediate vesting. Additional company contribution of 4% of pay each pay day into your account; 100% vested after three (3) years of service. Health Savings Account (HSA) and Flexible Spending Accounts (FSA) options.
  • Time Off & Leave: Paid Time Off (PTO): Accrual-based, increases with tenure, eligible at 90 days of employment. Full-time new employees will receive up to 12 PTO days annually; accrual based on start date and may include additional PTO based on role and/or state & local requirements. Part-time employee PTO hours are calculated based upon the standard weekly hours the employee is scheduled to work and will accrue at a minimum of 3 hours per month. Paid Holidays: Full-time employees are eligible for 10 company-paid holidays annually, in addition to 1 mental health day, 2 floating holidays and 1 volunteer day. Holidays vary by business unit schedules. Part-time employees are eligible for 8 company-paid holidays annually, in addition to 1 mental health day and 2 floating holidays. Holidays vary by business unit schedules. Paid leave programs, including parental, bereavement, jury duty, and military leave.

About the Role

Join a fast-paced branch where you’ll grow your sales career by helping customers find the right insurance and financial solutions. Build meaningful relationships, uncover new opportunities, and drive business through community engagement and referrals—all while earning rewards for your success.

Responsibilities

  • Sales, Retention & Revenue Growth: Own the sale and ongoing service of ACG-branded and brokered insurance products, memberships, and financial products within a high-traffic ACG branch; uncover customer needs, generate new business, retain existing clients, grow ACG’s insurance portfolio, overcome objections, negotiate effectively, close sales, and meet or exceed individual sales targets and incentive plan expectations.
  • Insurance Reviews & Policy Execution: Conduct comprehensive insurance reviews to assess risk, identify coverage gaps, recommend appropriate solutions, and quote, bind, and issue policies in accordance with underwriting guidelines and regulatory requirements.
  • Customer Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong rapport with members and clients, respond to inquiries with professionalism and urgency, and support high customer satisfaction, loyalty, and trust in the AAA brand.
  • Prospecting, Community Engagement & Referrals: Actively engage in local branch and community events to prospect, expand referral networks, develop new business opportunities, and identify cross-sell and referral opportunities into Travel and Financial Services to maximize overall member value.
