Insurance Sales Agent-Isle of Wight Branch

About the role

The Insurance Sales Agent position is available in the Isle of Wight Main Farm Bureau Office in Isle of Wight, VA. This is a full-time on-site position.

Responsibilities

• Build strong relationships with members and organizations in the community
• Service an existing book of business provided by Virginia Farm Bureau
• Manage a personal commission and bonus structure based on new sales
• Participate in ongoing training and development programs

Requirements

• Property & Casualty license and Life, Health & Annuities license, or ability to obtain these with Virginia Farm Bureau providing and paying for licensing training materials/class
• Must provide proof of passing licensing test
• Preferred: Strong communication skills, both oral and written, good time management skills, and the ability to work independently
• Prior sales experience in any industry is helpful but not required

Pay

Average first-year total compensation: $52,000 – $125,000 annually (inclusive of base salary)

Schedule

Full time on-site at the Isle of Wight Branch office
