The Virginia Farm Bureau Insurance seeks an Insurance Sales Agent to join its team in the Northumberland Main County Farm Bureau Office located in Heathsville, VA.

Responsibilities
- Build strong relationships with community members and organizations
- Manage an existing book of business
- Generate new sales through effective communication and networking
- Participate in dedicated sales and systems training
- Work independently with a goal-oriented approach
Requirements
- Property & Casualty license and Life, Health & Annuities license, or ability to obtain these with Virginia Farm Bureau providing and paying for licensing training materials/class
- Preferred: Prior sales experience in any industry
- Strong communication skills, both oral and written
- Good time management skills

Pay
Base Salary: $37,000 – $52,000 annually (dependent upon location and established book of business)
Total Compensation Range: $52,000 – $125,000 annually (inclusive of base salary, commissions, and performance-based earnings)
Schedule
Travel to meet with existing and new clients is required.
