Insurance Sales Agent - Culpeper County

About the role

The position is a full-time Insurance Sales Agent based in the Culpeper County office in Culpeper, VA. Reporting to the Agency Manager, this role services existing accounts while also growing new business in the surrounding area.

Responsibilities

• Service existing accounts
• Grow new business in the surrounding area
• Manage an existing book of business
• Receive a base salary and potential for additional income from various sources
• Eligible for a lucrative sign-on bonus
• Earn initial sales commissions
• Earn renewals of insurance lines
• Earn financial product renewals
• Earn monetary cash bonuses and incentive trips

Requirements

• Must be licensed to sell insurance
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to manage time effectively and meet deadlines
• Experience in sales or customer service preferred

Pay

Base salary range: $37,000 – $52,000 annually (dependent upon location and established book of business)

Total compensation range: $52,000 – $125,000 annually (inclusive of base salary)
