Insurance Sales Agent - Charlottesville - Albemarle County

The Virginia Farm Bureau Insurance is seeking a full-time Insurance Sales Agent to work in their Albemarle County Office. This position will service existing accounts while growing new business in the surrounding area.

About the role

This position will service existing accounts while growing new business in the surrounding area. The successful candidate will have an existing book of business, a base salary, and the potential for additional income from various sources.

Responsibilities

• Service existing accounts
• Grow new business in the surrounding area
• Manage customer relationships

• Process applications and paperwork
• Handle claims and policy renewals

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid driver’s license
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
• Strong attention to detail
• Knowledge of insurance products and industry regulations

Pay

Average first-year total compensation: $52,000 - $125,000 annually (inclusive of base salary)

Base Salary: $37,000 - $52,000 annually (dependent upon location and established book of business)
