Insurance Sales Agent - Bedford, VA

About the role

The position is available at the Bedford Farm Bureau Office in Bedford County, VA. The role is exempt and reports to the Agency Manager. The average first-year total compensation ranges from $52,000 to $125,000 annually, with a base salary range of $37,000 to $52,000 annually.

Responsibilities

• Build lasting relationships with community members and organizations
• Maintain a strong communication presence both orally and in writing
• Manage time effectively to achieve goals independently
• Develop and maintain a book of business through sales efforts
• Participate in first-class training provided by the company
• Work towards becoming a top-producing agent with support from the company

Requirements

• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Strong communication abilities (oral and written)
• Time management expertise
• A passion for sales

Qualifications

• A Property & Casualty license and a Life, Health & Annuities license are preferred
• Support is provided for obtaining these licenses
