Insurance & Reinsurance Attorney – Remote

Clark Hill is seeking an Attorney with 7+ years of practice experience to join its Insurance and Reinsurance group. Candidates can work remotely but must be licensed in the state in which they reside.

About the role

This Attorney will represent both international and domestic insurers and reinsurers on issues relating to pre-underwriting risk assessments, claim management, and coverage opinions for professional liability risks in the U.S. The ideal candidate will have experience in insurance coverage, medical malpractice, or mass torts.

Responsibilities

• Present complex liability and coverage issues in well-organized and concise written work product
• Trial preparation and courtroom experience, including file responsibility, motion practice, and deposition experience
• Work with e-discovery software

Requirements

• Exceptional advocacy, research, writing, and negotiation skills
• Strong academic credentials
• Detail-oriented and highly organized with a solid work ethic
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills

Pay

The salary range for this position is $185,000 - $210,000 annually, based upon a full-time work schedule. Actual compensation will be influenced by various factors, including but not limited to employee qualifications, relevant experience, skill sets, training, internal equity, and market data. This position is eligible for an annual discretionary bonus.
