Insurance Property Inspector
About the role
Information Providers, Inc. is seeking a part‑time 1099 Insurance Property Inspector in Corpus Christi, TX. The position offers a flexible, independent, field‑based schedule where you manage your own day, travel throughout an assigned territory, and conduct on‑site inspections of homes and businesses.
Responsibilities
- Dispatch daily from home and conduct on‑site inspections of residential and commercial properties.
- Capture detailed photographs and document key features relevant to underwriting decisions.
- Assess property conditions, identify potential hazards, and gather accurate data.
- Compile thorough underwriting survey reports and submit them remotely in a timely manner.
- Maintain accurate measuring, documentation, and reporting throughout each inspection.
Requirements
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- Willingness to travel throughout the assigned territory.
- Ability to work independently and manage your own schedule and workload.
- Strong attention to detail with accurate measuring, documentation, and reporting skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Basic computer proficiency (Microsoft Office, smartphones, Windows‑based laptops).
- Ability to complete administrative work remotely and submit reports promptly.
- Willingness to work outdoors in a variety of weather conditions.
- Ability to pass a background check.

- Construction or commercial contracting.
- Loss control or risk assessment.
- First‑responder experience.
Pay
$20–$28 per billable hour.
Schedule
Flexible 1099 hours. Normal field operating hours are 8:00 AM until 8:00 PM (or dusk, whichever is earlier), Monday through Saturday. No surveys are conducted after 8:00 PM, on Sundays, or on holidays.
