Insurance Product Analyst
Position Overview
The Insurance Product Analyst supports the Underwriting team, the Product team, and the Compliance Departments as document issuers and developers. Their role is to manage, update, evaluate, and assist with the overall wording issuing of new custom group wordings and renewals in accordance with WorldTrips business needs.
A general understanding of compliance and regulations, as they relate to legal and regulatory agencies, and comprehensive knowledge of benefit designs within the WorldTrips product portfolio is required.
The Product Analyst works with Operations, Underwriting, Claims, Business Intelligence, Sales, Account Services, Legal, Claims, and Marketing on a regular basis.
- Assist in managing the process of the annual custom group renewals and reporting on the progress
- Technical writing of wording where needed to support a product's benefits
- Issuing and publication of newly sold custom groups
- Maintaining historical changes made to various group wordings
- Communicating with internal clients on outcomes from wording updates
- Ensuring the process follows standard operating procedures and SLA’s
- Identifying and eliminating typographical errors before documents are published
- Reviewing document format and content to ensure benefits and supporting information match the product and UW proposal forms
Skills And Experience Needed
- Bachelor's degree in a related field, or the equivalent education and /or experience
- Minimum of three years of experience in Medical or Travel Insurance
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent analytical & problem-solving skills
- Proficient in reading & understanding the intent of a document
- Proficient experience using Microsoft Office package (Excel, Access, PowerPoint, Word)
- Experience with policy forms and drafting
- Experience with Sales and Benefit Design

Schedule
This is a hybrid position and you must be able to commute to the Carmel office (3 days in office).
Benefits
Subject to local and state laws governing the accrual of paid time off (PTO), Employees will receive 20 days of PTO, prorated for the current year based on date of hire. Employees annually receive approximately 11 paid holidays, one paid volunteer day, and up to two paid floating holidays.
