The person in this role will prospect and develop new business, conduct needs-based insurance consultations, and prepare quotes and proposals for individuals and businesses. Daily activities include meeting with clients in person and virtually, explaining coverage options, recommending appropriate policies, and managing renewals and policy changes. The Insurance Producer will follow up on leads, maintain a pipeline in the agency’s CRM, and collaborate with internal teams to ensure timely and accurate policy issuance and service. The role also involves ongoing client support, resolving coverage questions, and promoting additional lines of coverage when appropriate.Qualifications Candidates should possess skills in Insurance Sales and Insurance for personal and commercial lines, including Employee Benefits.Candidates should possess strong Communication and Customer Service skills to effectively explain coverage, build trust, and support clients.Relevant state insurance producer/license (or ability to obtain within a defined timeframe) is required.Prior experience in an insurance agency, brokerage, or related financial services environment is preferred.Ability to work in a hybrid setting, manage time independently, and maintain accurate records and documentation.Proficiency with common office software, CRM tools, and online quoting platforms is beneficial.Demonstrated integrity, ethical judgment, and commitment to client confidentiality.
