Responsibilities
- Manage approximately 20 inbound leads per day and conduct 8–9 qualifying conversations leading to quotes
- Conduct 2–3 meetings per prospect to close policies
- Utilize AI-assisted tools for intake, quoting, and documentation
- Sell personal and commercial property and casualty policies
- Engage in cold calling and attend small local business events as necessary
- Collaborate with customer service representatives and AI tools for administrative tasks
- Mentor and train junior producers for senior hires
Requirements
- A current active P&C (property and casualty) and Personal Lines License with the state of Massachusetts
- 2+ years of recent experience as an insurance sales producer (P&C)
- A proven track record of closing deals
- Comfort with high lead volume and AI-enabled workflows
- Familiarity with Massachusetts/New England
- 3–4+ years of producing; 10+ years considered is preferred
- Experience in small commercial (contractors, restaurants, SMBs ≤$5M revenue)
- Ability to train and mentor junior staff
- Existing book of business
