Johnston Meier Insurance has an exciting position available for a Branch Manager in their Kelowna area offices. Must have General Insurance Level 3 License (or Level 2 and willing to achieve Level 3 License), and at least five years of insurance industry and 2 years of leadership experience.

• Lead and support the team in achieving sales by providing coaching, guidance and skill development
• Manage team scheduling, ensuring efficient coverage and workflow
• Provide payroll submissions to the payroll department
• Aid in Commercial Lines, Personal Lines and Autoplan business, offering expertise and support as needed
• Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures and industry regulations by all employees
• Maintain open communication with head office regularly

Minimum Level 3 General Insurance Agent License with at least five years of insurance industry experience

• Knowledgeable in Commercial Lines, Personal Lines and Autoplan Insurance
• Strong communication skills to apply to underwriters, customers and team members
• Strong organizational, time management and interpersonal skills
• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Strong customer service
• Management experience (minimum 2 years)
• Be flexible in job duties and/or hours as necessary
• Computer skills required with working knowledge of Word & Excel
