Insurance Investment Operations Senior Analyst

About the Role

KKR seeks to recruit an Analyst/Sr Analyst on the Investment Operations teams supporting KKR Insurance’s specialty finance and transportation portfolio (consumer, industrial, transportation, etc.). The ideal candidate will be able to multi-task under pressure with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for asset set up of new securities and structured transactions – coordinate with Portfolio Management team to (ii) understand new structures and (ii) build-out infrastructure to support new structures in KKR’s Investment Management Platform (Edge, Geneva and LMS)
  • Set up SPVs to hold assets and facilitate internal securitization of asset cashflows
  • Inclusive of settlement of loans/assets, onward participation of loans/assets across KKR Insurance Portfolios – coordination with Legal and custody banks
  • Engage in team initiatives to support complex asset structures and process automation
  • Responsible for ongoing asset lifecycle management (principal and interest remittances, pay-downs, pay-offs, coupon updates, factor updates, etc.)
  • Review cash and asset movement across KKR custody and trust banks and accounts related to Investment Activity (trades, transfers, etc.)
  • Interface and manage the relationship with third party servicers (loan servicers, asset managers, Federal Home Loan Banks, Custodian Banks, etc.)
  • Coordinate above activities with Investment Accounting, Investment Controls, Risk, Asset Allocation, Investment Origination, etc. – inclusive of interfaces with ancillary platforms/systems
  • Identify processes enhancements and develop an implementation program

Qualifications

  • 1-4 years' experience in general investment operations, ideally in a middle office or other transaction-facing role
  • Prior experience in private credit or equity deal funding
  • Knowledge of credit investments, particularly bank loans or real estate
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills
  • High level of attention to detail
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to multi-task, and oversee a high volume of work
  • Strong work ethic with the ability to quickly grasp key concepts

Pay

This is the expected annual base salary range for this Boston-based position: $70,000—$100,000 USD. Actual salaries may vary based on factors, such as skill, experience, and qualification for the role. Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus, based on factors such as individual and team performance.
