Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Insurance Defense E-Biller to join our team in Beaumont, TX.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and submit electronic bills (E-bills) for insurance defense cases accurately and timely.
• Review and audit legal invoices to ensure compliance with client billing guidelines and fee schedules.
• Communicate with attorneys, clients, and vendors to resolve billing discrepancies and issues.
• Maintain detailed records of billing submissions, approvals, and denials.
• Utilize billing software and platforms to manage electronic billing processes efficiently.
• Stay updated on changes in insurance defense billing requirements and industry best practices.
• Assist with month-end billing reports and reconciliation as needed.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years experience in insurance defense billing or legal billing preferred.
• Proficiency with electronic billing platforms such as TyMetrix, Juris, or similar software.
• Strong understanding of insurance defense billing guidelines and fee structures.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
• High school diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelor’s degree preferred.
