Insurance Defense Attorney

Key Responsibilities

• Manage a diverse caseload from initial investigation through resolution.
• Draft pleadings, motions, discovery, settlement agreements, and other litigation documents.
• Handle hearings, depositions, mediations, and related court appearances.
• Work closely with clients and colleagues to develop effective case strategy.
• Conduct thorough legal research and deliver strong written and oral advocacy.
• Maintain organized case management while meeting critical deadlines.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1-2 years of litigation experience, preferably in insurance defense.
• Active license to practice law in South Carolina.
• Juris Doctor from an accredited law school.
• Strong legal research, writing, analytical, and advocacy skills.
• Excellent judgment, attention to detail, and professional communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, client-focused environment.
