Job Details

The ideal candidate is a licensed California attorney who is organized, motivated, and interested in building practical litigation skills through meaningful case responsibility and client interaction.

Responsibilities

• Manage civil litigation matters from inception through resolution
• Draft pleadings, motions, discovery, and legal correspondence
• Conduct and defend depositions
• Attend court appearances, mediations, and hearings
• Communicate directly with clients, opposing counsel, and experts
• Assist with trial preparation and participate in trial proceedings as opportunities arise
• Maintain timely reporting and case updates

Qualifications

• Active membership in the State Bar of California
• Minimum 1 year of civil litigation experience preferred
• Strong legal writing, analytical, and communication skills
• Ability to manage deadlines and multiple assignments
• Experience with law and motion practice, discovery, and court appearances preferred
• Interest in long-term professional development and litigation practice growth

Compensation & Benefits

• Salary range: $130,000 – $200,000 annually, depending on experience
