Insurance Claims Representative

Responsibilities

• Manual claim setup and data entry into the claims system.
• Review emailed claim documents and accurately enter information.
• Follow special handling procedures for specialty financial lines claims.
• Manage “problem losses” (claims missing key information such as policy numbers or claimant details).
• Conduct outbound calls to agents, insureds, and claimants to gather missing information.
• Review legal and insurance-related documents to locate required information.

Qualifications

• Insurance claims experience required.
• Commercial/specialty insurance experience preferred over personal lines experience.
• Guidewire ClaimCenter system experience preferred.

Schedule

Hybrid schedule.

Job Type & Location

Contract-to-hire position based in Sun Prairie, WI (Madison metro area). Anticipated closing date: October 31, 2026.

Pay

The pay range for this position is $20.00 – $21.00 per hour. Individual compensation within this range depends on qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other job-related factors.
