About the Role

If you aspire to run your own business, consider joining the office of Chad Stalvey - State Farm Agent. This role offers first-hand experience in what it takes to be a State Farm Agent. You will build and develop customer relationships within the community to promote State Farm products, including auto, home, and life insurance. This position allows you to explore the opportunity to become a State Farm agent yourself.

Responsibilities

  • Establish customer relationships and follow up with customers as needed.
  • Provide prompt, accurate, and friendly customer service, including responding to inquiries about insurance availability, eligibility, coverages, policy changes, transfers, claim submissions, and billing clarification.
  • Use a customer-focused, needs-based review process to educate customers about insurance options.
  • Work with the agent to establish and meet marketing goals.
  • Develop leads, schedule appointments, identify customer needs, and market appropriate products and services.
  • Maintain a strong work ethic with a total commitment to success each day.

Requirements

  • Sales experience (outside sales, inside sales, retail sales, or telemarketing) preferred.
  • Interest in marketing products and services based on customer needs.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication (written, verbal, and listening), and presentation skills.
  • Enthusiastic about the role insurance and financial products play in helping people manage risks, recover from the unexpected, and realize their dreams.
  • People-oriented, with strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
  • Self-motivated and proactive.
  • Experience with computer applications, particularly Windows.
  • Ability to work in a team environment and achieve mutually agreed-upon marketing goals.
  • Provide timely and thorough activity reports to the agent.
  • Ability to obtain Property and Casualty, Life, and Health licenses.
