Insurance Analyst - VA
About the role
The Insurance Analyst will participate in low-complexity initiatives within Business Execution while supporting insurance compliance activities. The role supports operational processes, compliance reviews, risk analysis, and insurance-related initiatives impacting mortgage and lending operations.
Responsibilities
- Support insurance compliance initiatives and operational activities.
- Review insurance-related documentation for accuracy and compliance.
- Aid in insurance risk assessments and issue tracking.
- Support projects related to commercial insurance and insurance compliance requirements.
- Analyze insurance data and identify exceptions or compliance concerns.
- Afford support in implementing process improvements and operational controls.
- Support reporting, documentation, and compliance monitoring activities.
- Collaborate with internal business partners to resolve insurance-related issues.
- Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements and investor guidelines.
- Provide status updates and operational support to project stakeholders.
Requirements
- Experience in Insurance Risk and Commercial Insurance.
- Knowledge of Insurance Compliance programs and regulatory requirements.
- Strong analytical and operational support skills.
- Experience supporting mortgage-related insurance processes, including Freddie Mac and Fannie Mae requirements.
- Attention to detail and ability to work within established policies and procedures.
- 6+ months of Business Execution, Implementation, or Strategic Planning experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work or consulting experience, training, military experience, education.
Qualifications
- Financial services or banking experience.
- Experience working on insurance compliance projects.
- Exposure to mortgage servicing or lending operations.
- Knowledge of risk management and regulatory compliance frameworks.
