Insurance Analyst (contract)

Responsibilities

• Monitor and manage insurance compliance requirements for a commercial mortgage servicing portfolio.
• Review insurance documentation to ensure adherence to agency and investor guidelines.
• Identify and resolve insurance deficiencies, coverage issues, and compliance exceptions.
• Analyze insurance-related risks and recommend appropriate actions to mitigate exposure.
• Partner with internal servicing, asset management, and operations teams to ensure compliance requirements are met.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation within servicing systems.
• Communicate with borrowers, insurance providers, and third parties regarding insurance requirements and outstanding items.
• Support portfolio audits, reporting, and compliance reviews.

Qualifications

• Experience in one or more of the following: Commercial Insurance Servicing, Insurance Compliance, Insurance Risk Management, Commercial Mortgage Servicing, Agency Loan Servicing
• Strong understanding of insurance compliance processes and documentation.
• Experience reviewing insurance policies, coverage requirements, and risk mitigation practices.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Prior experience working within loan servicing or compliance environments.

Summary

We are seeking an experienced Insurance Compliance Analyst to support our Agency Servicing portfolio. This role is responsible for monitoring insurance compliance requirements, managing insurance-related risk, and ensuring adherence to agency guidelines for commercial mortgage loans. The ideal candidate will have a background in commercial insurance servicing, insurance risk management, agency servicing, or commercial mortgage servicing, with experience supporting portfolios associated with Freddie Mac, Fannie Mae, FHA, or similar agency-backed loan programs.
