As a Life Insurance Sales Agent, you’ll help provide an experience to our stakeholders that delivers on our promises. Our strength lies in our dedication to frequent personal home visits with new and existing customers to collect premiums, conduct sales of new policies, and address other service needs.

For new unlicensed agents, your journey begins with a paid training period, including tools and guidance to study for and pass the licensing exams. Once licensed, you’ll be assigned an existing book of business and earn a percentage of the premiums you collect, as well as commissions on new sales. Responsibilities

  • Conducting sales presentations, recommending products, and closing new sales
  • Prospecting for new sales opportunities
  • Maintaining strong customer relationships by collecting premiums on a pre-arranged schedule
  • Responding promptly to service requests such as beneficiary changes, claims, and loans
  • Record keeping, accounting for money collected, and processing policy paperwork
  • Growing the assigned territory through new sales
  • Building strong working relationships with customers
  • Devoting the time necessary to fulfill the responsibilities of the role
  • Pursuing continuous professional development in insurance products and sales effectiveness

Requirements

  • Customer service experience
  • At least 18 years of age
  • Valid driver’s license with required auto insurance coverage
  • Dependable vehicle for daily travel
  • Ability to pass a background check, motor vehicle report, and drug screening
  • Authorization to work in the United States

Preparation & Training

  • Licensing: Free access to study tools and professional guidance to prepare for licensing exams
  • Training: Onboarding development program including self-study, classroom instruction, and field mentoring by your Sales Manager
  • On-the-Job Training: Earn a paycheck while learning your profession through hands-on experience
